"North American Occupational Safety & Health (NAOSH) Week, which will be celebrated May 2-8 by the American Society of Safety Engineers (ASSE), aims to increase the understanding of the positive benefits of investing in occupational safety, health and environmental programs among employers, employees, and the public; raise awareness of the role and contribution of safety, health, and environmental professionals; and reduce workplace injuries and illness by encouraging new safety and health activities at all companies and organizations.
