Ive assessed a gentleman today in outpatients who has a 13/12 hx of LBP.on exam he has a right SIJ ant rotation and slight upslip along with L1 dysfunction.
he was sent to me by a collegue because of my acupunture skills but i think manual therepy would be the way forward for this gent im not sure how far i can mobilize him though. he has non hog lymphoma in both groins .hes had bone marrow tests,a lumbar puncture and CTscans which confirm the restriction of the lymphoma to the groin and various abominal investigations as his pain was initally prominent in the abdomin any ideas.like most outpatient physio when i come into contact with patients with serious pathology rarely encountered im inclined to do nothing but would like to help this chap out ideas greatly appreciated |
