I am married, my husband is in the Military so we are constantly moving around. I am a former personal trainer, I have a degree in exercise science and I'm looking to shift into becoming a Physical Therapist. I understand there are no Distance Learning programs for PT's since it's so hands on, so I've started to look at PTA programs. When we finally get settled in a place for more then 2 years (hopefully that will be soon!) I plan to get my masters in Physical Therapy, but for now becoming a PTA is the next best thing. I've found some schools that have partial distance learning (but still require you to come on campus every weekend), but then I came across Penn Foster, and was wondering if they are a reputable school in the Physical Therapy assistant feild? I just don't want to sign up and go through their program to graduate then be told my degree is not any good. We just moved to our most current station, and only be here for one year, maybe two, but we won't know that untill December. Distance learning is my best option. If anyone knows of anything about Penn Foster programs, or any schools with a good DL program, please let me know.
